My hair dryer bit the dust this morning...yeah..smoke was coming out of it..not a good thing...I am just glad it didn't catch on fire like I have had 1 do about 10 years ago.

After spending about an hour in Buy Buy Baby and testing Tait out in about 5 strollers, I finally decided on this one. We needed a more compact stroller for when we go on trips (otherwise we wouldn't have room for luggage or anything else.) and there are about a thousand unbrella strollers out there..of course there isn't 1 stroller out there with EVERYTHING I would like it to have, but this one fits our needs pretty well so I am very happy with it.

I got the other half of my mother's day gift. A bracelet with Tait's name and birth stone colors...I LOVE it. A lady at church makes them...they are so cute and I am so happy to have one!!

This is my cousin's little boy Eden...He loved me taking pictures of him while he was playing soccer...everytime he kicked the ball he looked back at me and asked to see the picture I took.

It's really starting to get hot now so I decided it was time to get Tait ready for summer.
I am really hoping to get him used to the water. He is liking his baths a lot more now, so maybe he will like the swimming pool. We have been invited by the family I babysit for to join them when they go to a friends pool so hopefully we will be able to go over there a few times this summer. I also got Tait a baby pool that I found on clearance at the end of last summer so I am sure we will use that a lot too!

Bella spent the afternoon outside running around and is now tired. Instead of curling up in her comfy bed she decides to sleep on the floor in the office to be near us...now she can really annoy me sometimes..but some things she does is cute :)

Tait finally got his piggy bank. The first deposit into it was from my parents with money they gave him in his Easter basket...The funny part is that when they got the Easter eggs to fill, 3 of the eggs had money in them...They were supposed to be for us last year..oops! Oh well..in Tait's piggy bank they go!!

We were outside a little this afternoon. It was a little chilly so Tait had to wear his hat..I think he looks so cute with it on..and I felt a little artistic for the fact that he is off to the side in this photo...it is because I was trying to take the picture while holding him..not an easy thing to do..but I think the picture is cute anyway!

It is 8:30pm right now..which is Tait's bedtime...He will not be sleeping in his crib tonight. He is staying the night with his Grandma & Grandpa. I'm not taking it as well as I thought I would. I will really be ready to see him tomorrow at church!!

Tait decided he wanted to try and hold his bottle today...he could hold it up for a few seconds, but then it just got too heavy...my big boy! I can't believe he is going to be 5 months old on Friday!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!



Today was my first Mother's day and it was a good one. Justin had to work so that was a bummer, but he was able to go to church and eat a quick lunch with us so that was good.
I am blessed that I was chosen to be this little guys mommy. I love him so much and I don't even want to imagine life without him!

We bought a new vacuum because we didn't think ours was doing such a great job, and we knew Tait was going to be moving around the floor soon so we decided it was time to buy a new vacuum cleaner. Well...this is what we got...SO sick! I can't believe that our vacuum was missing this!! this is only from the living room too!! UGH! I am so embarrassed.

I am scrapbooking tomorrow at my Aunt's house with some friends...or 1. not many can come at the last minute..anyway....I am all packed up and ready to go at 8am !! This is light packing compared to last time! I am even taking Tait's excersaucer to keep him entertained.
Looking forward to spending some time with my friend Melissa, even if its just the 2 of us :)
