This..is what we had for dinner tonight..along with lasagna and garlic bread.
It's Strawberry salad..SO good. Justin ate 3 bowls of it!
Here is the recipe!
The Salad.Romaine lettuce, sliced Strawberries, sliced oven roasted almonds, bacon bits(REAL ONES) fetta cheese.
The dressing is 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup of olive oil, tbsp salt, 1/2 a sweet onion, blend in blender.

We just added the topping to our each individual salad. SO good!

This afternoon I put Tait in his little swing. Usually he just sits and stare at the toys on it, but today he was actually hitting the red puppy. Now I am not sure he knew he was doing it, but he was having fun!

This little bed has been in the family for a long time, My Grandpa slept in it, my dad and his siblings, me and my cousins, Tait's cousins, and now Tait. He only has a few more weeks to be in it..it was very special getting to use it.

So on a roll with the bargains. I stopped in at Tj Maxx to see if they had any cute clothes for Tait...like the child needs any but anyway...I turned down the aisle that had baby gear and spotted a few diaper bags in a stack. I recognized the pattern of one, picked it up and about had a heart attack. I have been wanting one of these diaper bags way before Tait was born. Scored a deal because it was only $60. Now I usually do not spend that kind of money on 1 item..but come on...its a $160 bag! I can't even find that deal on ebay...trust me..i've looked :)

Today was Tait's first experience at the park. He LOVED being in his stroller looking around at everything. Such a beautiful day to be out. Looking forward to more days like this!

This is Bella. Our 1 year old pocket beagle. She chases anything that is in our yard. Has caught 1 mouse...so I guess thats a good thing. I don't know what she was after here, but she can sure jump for such a little thing :)

This is my new cricut. My old one bit the dust and a friend was selling hers so my mom and I bought hers. Came with the bag and 4 cartridges. Looking forward to scrapping again!

Just got back from a Mary Kay party at my friend Mary's house. Lots of fun...even more for me because I had a gift certificate to use that I got at my baby shower! Almost all of this was free!!

We purchased a doggy bed for Bella yesterday. She isn't too sure about it yet. We put it in her crate last night so she HAD to sleep on it...hopefully we didn't waste our money :)

This is my new car. Well...its our "family car" Whoever has the baby gets to drive it. Its an 05 Chevy Malibu Maxx I love it! It drives really nice. The only part I was bummed about was the color. We now have 2 tan vehicles. :) oh well.

I woke up this morning and went to check on Tait...this is how I found him. laying wide awake smiling up at his wall where there are vinyl letters and stars. He loves to look at them. He smiles and talks to them..its So cute!

I finally put Tait's pictures in frames the other day. These were taken when he was 8 days old, I have more that need to go up on the wall, by the time I get those up there I will have his 3 month old pictures I am sure :)
