I am back from my trip to Nashville..boy did I have fun!! I was ready to come home though!
Thursday we went on a trolley tour of Nashville, Tn and this is a view of the capitol building from a park..very pretty! (on the pillars are bells and they play 3 songs every hour.)

I am all packed and ready to go to Nashville, Tennessee for the MOPS convention..I am really looking forward to this time. I will miss Tait and Justin a lot!! But I am really excited about being away from home for a few days!

Tait's instructions...
I am going to be in Tennessee for 3 1/2 days and so Tait will be with babysitters because Justin has to close the whole time I am gone...so this is a folder with the instructions for Tait..2 pages of info, 1 emergency contact sheet, 1 copy of insurance card, 1 medical release form...do you think I am over protective or prepared??

My new phone came today!! I wasn't sure how much I would like the touch screen, but I love it so far! Very happy I picked this one. And now that I look at the picture I forgot to clean Tait's finger prints off of it! :0)

Stopped down at the apple house (what we call the sales building for the orchard.) to get some apples before heading home and snapped some photos for the orchard's fan page on Facebook. this is our cider slush...and Oh is it good!! ( the red has wild cherry flavoring added!)

Today Tait and I helped out at the Orchard. My parents were working at a farmers market that morning so Grandpa was going to be alone...boy am I glad I was there..we were busy! (especially for the road being closed!)

T is for tired...

I finally got my room finished...I went through EVERYTHING in this room..organized the closet, went through my drawers, found more stuff for ebay, and set up an area on the other side of the room for Tait..needless to say I am TIRED! But I am SO happy to have this done. It will much easier to scrapbook now with everything more organized. I still have 3 more shelves to hang on the wall. I am ready for friends to come scrap with me!!

S is for Seat...as in Car Seat..

We got Tait's car seat today...he is getting big too fast! I weighed him the other day and if the scale was right he is up to 21 lbs! Even though I am sad that he is getting big, I am a little happy to not have to use the little carrier car seat anymore...of course he still has to be rear facing in this seat until he is 1, but that is only 3 months away!

R is for Rearrange!

I am embarrassed to have you all see this room...but I guess you don't get to see the other half of the room..its much worse! lol
I have been working on my scraproom...(slowly) I am making a play area in the room for Tait so he can be in there when I scrapbook. I need to get this room in order since I should be spending a lot more time in it....I am attempting (for about the 3rd time) to start my scrapbooker for hire business..This past week I have had 3 people say they would like to hand over their stuff to me...this once again is a sign that I should be doing this. Now if I could only get it started for real!

Q is for quilt.

This quilt is very special to me. 7 years ago my Grandma Gregory passed away ..about 6 months before I got married. She was going to make me a quilt with daisies on it because that is my favorite flower. She wasn't able to make the quilt before she died.
My Grandpa went to his church one night when they were holding an auction raising money for missions. They sold several quilts that ladies in the church had made.
My Grandpa bid and won this quilt for me. Giving it to me as a wedding present, just like Grandma was going to do. And the best part... My Grandma had actually made this quilt..her signature is even on the back. And I think they look like daisies..don't you?!
My Grandpa isn't a man of many words, and he doesn't show a lot of emotion, but this was the best present he could have given me for my wedding!
I can't wait until I have a little girl so I can put this on her bed.

L is for Little Tikes.
My Grandpa retired from Rubbermaid so guess what my brother and I got for Christmas growing up...yup..Little Tikes. My brother had a toy almost just like this and we LOVED it! My mom sold is about 10 years ago not thinking she could have a grandson someday!! well after some hunting I found this on Ebay! $25! This is Tait's first Birthday or Christmas present. What little boy wouldn't love playing with this!?

K is for Kick'n back! One of the girls I babysit is sick so Tait and I have stayed home the past 2 days..Today we had a lazy day..this is him watching a little bit of 101 Dalmatians.

J is for Jacket...Tait got this Polo jacket at his baby shower..I LOVE it...it is size 12 months and I remember thinking, wow it will be a long time until he gets to wear it...and now he can...sad!
