I am a few months behind I realize.
I kind of feel like maybe I should get this started back up again since baby #2 is
almost here...of course I might not have any time with baby #2 on her way...
we will see how things are going and if I give up or not...but here goes my attempt!
We have been keeping busy trying to get things ready for little Amelia to arrive.
Tait moved into his big boy room/bed almost exactly a month ago. And he has done
GREAT in his new bed! Not once has he gotten out of bed on his own. When he wakes up,
he sits in his bed and yells for me or Justin to come get him....which is WONDERFUL!
Since we moved Tait into a new room...that means his old room is Amelia's nursery...
Now ever since I found out we were having a girl, I have imagined how I would decorate
her room....I knew I didn't want anything too girly...but I did want some pink!
After getting some ideas online, I came up with this idea....Color scheme: Gray, white, black,
and pink. With owls!
I cut out the owls, flowers, and branches on viny with my cricut machine...I tell you that thing
is the best!
The picture frame is right over the crib, I found it at hobby lobby..on clearance..for $3.20!
I LOVE finding deals! I am such a bargain hunter!
I finally found pink paper lanterns..took me a while, but I was able to find them at a party
store..since then, I have seen them at a couple other places....of course!
My mom is making Amelia's bedding...the quilt and skirt. She is close to finishing it and I will be sure to post pictures when she is done.I am due in less than 1 month..and I am SO ready!
I have mine and Amelia's hospital bags packed and ready to go...(something I never got done when we had Tait) I still have to pack a bag for Tait for when he is staying at my parent's or
Aunt Pat's house.
I have a dr appointment this morning...kind of hoping she will give me an idea of when this baby will come..she had told me originally that I wouldn't go full term because of some blood pressure problems...but I have been on medicine that has helped lower it a little..so we will see what she thinks now.
I am ready and so very excited to meet our little girl!!
